Quality Standard ISO 9001:2008

Many companies require their suppliers to become registered to ISO 9001 and because of this, registered companies find that their market opportunities have increased. In addition, a company's compliance with ISO 9001 ensures that it has a sound quality management system, and that's good business.

Registered companies have had dramatic reductions in customer complaints, significant reductions in operating costs and increased demand for their products and services. Other benefits can include better working conditions, increased market share and increased profits.

ISO 9001 registration is rapidly becoming a must for any company that does business in Europe.  Many industrial companies require registration by their own suppliers. There is a growing trend towards universal acceptance of ISO 9001 as an international standard.

ISO 9001 registration is among the most desirable accomplishments a company can pursue.  Adopting ISO registration improves internal processes and reduces operational costs resulting in increased sales and market share.

Companies from manufacturing, telecommunications, oil, chemical, utilities and pharmaceuticals seek ISO registration. However, there are also certain companies which do not seek an such registration. A significant reason for the difference, is company culture.

Company culture describes the company, how it is managed, how it reacts to external challenges, and how workers respond to the work environment. Thus, the cultural environments go a long way in driving an organisation towards registration.
